I've been shopping at this location for a long time. I recently stopped going there. Food bazaar was the store that I used to purchase Tilapia fillect, but more than a few times I had to threw it away, it smells really bad, discolored, stink and all slimes. Fish is not something cheap and its really disappointing that I had to threw it away many times. I now, purchase fish at bjs, which is cheaper and fresh, no smell, no slimes.. Also, I placed an order online, instacart does food bazaar delivery. I didn't receive the right items, because its instacart that did the delivery, food bazaar customer service refused to refund my money or give me the right items that I ordered. Im done shopping there.

I love love love love food Bazaar!!! They are the only supermarket in Elizabeth that has red papaya!! I know because I've gone to Citigrocer, supremo, shoprite, and walmart! And none of them had it. But food Bazaar did not let me down. The staff is so friendly and very accommodating. They make you leave the store feeling happy that you've spent all your money lol... Actually the prices are comparable to the big chains and there's a better variety of products. You should go see for yourself...

Good range of Latin products. Standard US made food products were a bit high priced. I was looking for an Asian grocery and Google sent me here, sadly. Wanted Asian noodles. Closest I found was Ramen. Appreciated the late hours though.
